The entrants must be an exhibitor at designEX or Interior Trends 2008.
The product must have its Australian release at the show or six months prior to the show.
The product must be in full commercial production by the 10th April 2008, and be available for delivery 3 months after the show; therefore the product may not be a prototype.
Companies are limited to one entry per product category.
The product must be displayed on your stand at designEX 2008.
All entrants must provide one 300+ dpi image (JPEG or TIF file) of the product.
Entrants must complete all parts to the official entry form by the 10th March 2008.

All entries to the new product design awards, along with the winners of the four categories of the Stand Design Awards will be eligible for a single opportunity to win 30m2 of complimentary floor space (valued at $14 355) at designEX 09 in Melbourne. The prize will be drawn and announced at the presentation ceremony on Thursday 10th April 2008.

By participating, entrants agree to be bound by the terms & conditions » and by the decisions of the judges, which are final and binding in all respects.

New Product Awards

Awards are offered in the following categories:

Bathroomware: sanitaryware, taps, vanity units, shower screens, bathroom accessories.

Furniture: outdoor & garden products, residential, hospitality, commercial, artwork. Fabric: upholstery, curtains, blinds & soft furnishings

Lighting: lamps & lighting, lighting systems

Kitchen Appliances: ovens, cook-tops, range-hoods, sinks, refrigerators & dishwashers

Surface Finishes: laminates, wall tiles, veneers, metal, glass & paint

Flooring: floor tiles, carpet, rugs, vinyl, parquetry, wood, stone, floating, safety & outdoor

Computer Aided Technology: electronic devices, software, automation modules

Doors / Windows: Blinds, curtains, shutters, curtain hardware and accessories, handles, cabinet & furniture hardware, mouldings, doors (exterior & interior), windows.

Each of the product categories have been reviewed and selected to match the diversity of the products at the show.
